What is Roommate Syndrome?
Best Friends – Friends – Roommates – Strangers – Enemies
INTENTIONALITY:
Discuss it! Admit it.
Choose to begin to pursue each other.
PURSUE– to chase after someone.
PURSUE– take interest in each other’s interest.
“Re-figure out what makes them feel loved and begin doing it!”

Words of Affirmation, Gift Giving, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation.
John 15:13 (KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
The importance of FLIRTING.
What is FLIRTING?
- Playful, silly, it says and shows “Hey I’m interested in you.”
- “Also, it’s putting feelers out to see if they’re interested back.”
- Flirting can be done with your hands, your eyes, your smile, your phone, a card, etc.
- Example: Social environment, “we don’t need each other to feel socially secure but we can choose each other and sit down together.”
- When you think of something nice about them, tell them!
- Ephesians 4:29 (ESV) Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
DATE: Dating is important!
SEX: It is a big deal!
1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (TMSG) The marriage bed must be a place of mutuality- the husband seeking to satisfy his wife, the wife seeking to satisfy her husband. Marriage is not a place to “stand up for your rights”. Marriage is a decision to serve the other, whether in bed or out.
Best Friends & Lovers that’s what we want to be!
