1.) CARE TAKER (0-4 Years)
- Parents: Teach them to feed themselves, learn their personality.
- Child: Learning how to do everything/all things.
2.) COP (4-12 Years)
- Parents: “Say NO,” Teach them boundaries, Be consistent.
- Child: Earn trust.
3.) COACH (11-16 Years)
- Parents: Over communicate “good expectations” give them room to succeed (or fail).
- Child: Chance to try it myself take responsibility (i.e.: do my chores without being told).
4.) CONSULTANT (17-up)
- Parents: Listen more than talk, not help just advise, goal is relationship.
- Child: Learn to trust parent’s wisdom, grow in friendship for life.
