Psalm 107:1 (NLT) 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

2. Gratitude: Is an inner feeling of appreciation that may or may not be expressed outwardly.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) 18 …give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Thanksgiving is the expression of our appreciation, often visible or vocal.
Gratitude is the feeling of thankfulness that may or may not be expressed but resides in the heart.
Colossians 3:17 (NIV) 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
